Quartou is a room rental marketplace for the Brazilian market. Tenants search rooms and apartments across the country, while landlords list their spaces for free and manage everything from their own dashboard.
I designed the UI/UX myself and I'm building the platform with Next.js and TypeScript on the front-end and a custom NestJS back-end with Postgres, from the data model to the interface.
- Location-based search with filters for price, property type and amenities
- City pages for SEO, from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro
- A listing dashboard where landlords upload photos and manage their ads
- Messaging between tenants and landlords
The platform is live with over a hundred active listings and growing.
